A Jamesian explains to a tourist how to behave when confronted by different types of bears in Canada.
– if you have an encounter with a black bear, you only have to run downhill and the black bear won’t be able to follow you because of its shorter front legs, it will stumble and leave you alone.
– if you meet a brown bear, you must curl up into a ball and play dead, it will find you uninteresting and leave you alone.
– if you meet a polar bear, woe to you! All you can do is prepare a big log fire to offer him at least a good hot meal! 🙂
