Description

The Black Spruce essential oil, obtained through steam distillation of the wood, has a composition similar to that extracted from its branches and needles. It contains lower levels of bornyl acetate but a higher concentration of α-pinene, which may enhance its tonifying and respiratory-cleansing properties.

Organoleptic Properties: Clear and colorless with the smell of fresh conifer, the soft resin is almost icy, slightly spicy with hints of citrus.

Components: α-pinene, β-pinene, δ3-carene, bornyl acetate, camphene
Recommendations

Avoid use during the first three months of pregnancy and in case of thyroid or adrenal disorders.

Contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.

Dilute in a vegetable oil before application to the skin. Long-term pure topical application may cause redness if the product is oxidized.
